I graduated with honors from M H Vicars School of Massage Therapy. I have been a member in good standing with the Massage Therapist Association of Alberta since 2015, and have been steadily working and training ever since. Over the course of my career I have witnessed the power of touch first hand, and I believe it is a sacred way to communicate, connect and heal. There are so many levels on which we feel pain, it’s never just one muscle that hurts, just one tender spot. It’s never just the body, just the mind, just the circumstances or stress. It’s everything as a whole, and everything needs to be addressed.
I have taken professional development courses in prenatal massage, kinetic massage, hot stone massage, craniosacral therapy and cupping. I use many techniques and approaches ranging from relaxation to deeper tissue work, from focusing on silent, peaceful massages, to ones that incorporate movement, client feedback and education. I blend my modalities to address the goals of the unique body and mind of the person I am working with.
I offer full family care, specializing in nervous system relaxation. Stress and mental health management are some of my favorite areas to explore in treatment. I believe massage therapy, with its offer of touch, connection, care and space, can help us heal in physical, energetic and emotional ways. The longer I work in this field, the more evidence I find that it all is truly and irrevocably connected.
My aim for my treatments is that they are deeply comforting. It is the nature of bodywork to sometimes be uncomfortable, but I believe the real work is in touching with comfort what we once thought was too sore to touch at all.
I am honored to do what I do - to touch and learn, to educate and help people live more comfortably. I welcome everyone who comes through our doors and I deeply respect the journey we are each on.

Hi, I’m Danielle, owner and Doctor of Acupuncture at Renew Wellness Collective.
I have been practicing (and receiving) acupuncture for over 15 years.
The treatment that I appreciate the most, both to receive and to give, is a reset from the stress and overwhelm of life. One of deep rest that improves the mood and the response to stress that will inevitably return. It relieves tension and improves sleep. It is a physical and emotional reset that leaves you feeling regulated and grounded.
Here a few other things about me that influence how I live my own life an how I practice:
I love to connect with people. Listening to and learning about what you are experiencing and working to understand how it is showing up in your body is meaningful to me.
Learning and growth are two of my core values. I almost always have a book that I’m reading or course that I’m taking to increase my knowledge in a certain area or expand my understanding of who we are and why we show up in the world in the ways that we do. My most recent interests are the field of psychology, mental health, how we store and process trauma and how acupuncture can be integrated into trauma work.
Movement and the outdoors are vital to my wellbeing. I spend time outside in the trees with my dog every day and I enjoy trail running, hiking, biking, paddle boarding, kayaking and swimming. I have always been fascinated by human anatomy and how our bodies move and function. I work with sport related injuries and pains that inhibit you from being as active as you would like to be and continue care to optimize and maintain your physical wellbeing.
The majority of my experience over the past 15 years has been working with women in improving their fertility, easing the challenges of pregnancy and working with them and their families postpartum. I am a mom of 3 kids and am always trying to find the “perfect balance” between time spent with family, time spent with work and time spent with myself. I love to cook, bake and adventure with my 3 and catch glimpses of the world through their eyes.
My interests continue to shift as life’s transitions and my own experiences guide the focus of my practice, but every interest is a branch from the same tree, rooted in a single purpose: to offer physical, mental and emotional balance to every individual who seeks it.
I look forward to hearing more about you!

I am a passionate acupuncturist who has been working in the allied health industry for over 10 years, and have been practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture since 2017. Throughout my life, I have always had a calling to practice energy medicine, fascinated by ancient philosophies and healing. This curiosity led me to explore various energy healing modalities, which eventually culminated in my pursuit of acupuncture as a career and additional training as a Usui Reiki Master and Sound Healing Therapist.
By combining the time-honored principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine with other energy practices, I strive to offer a comprehensive and transformative healing experience. Through acupuncture and energy medicine, I work to restore balance, release blockages, and ignite the body’s natural healing abilities.
I am deeply committed to empowering my patients to reconnect with their own innate healing potential! With every session, my goal is to create a safe and nurturing space where my patients can leave feeling lighter, refreshed and more connected to themselves.

When I decided to pursue schooling for the Doctorate of Traditional Chinese Medicine, I had no idea that I would find my life’s purpose. From learning a new way to perceive the world, to using acupuncture while crafting herbal formulas, to witnessing the interplay of human emotions and how they translate into symptoms and illness; I discovered true passion in this medicine.
After I graduated in 2017 I became inspired by the unique way that Traditional Chinese Medicine guides women through life. I’ve broadened my studies to focus on balancing the menstrual cycle, easing through the transitions of pregnancy, birth, postpartum & menopause, supporting couples with fertility, and assisting with other gynaecological disorders. I have a passion for all issues related to womb health and helping women cultivate new possibilities.
In pursuit of finding balance within my own experiences of insomnia and anxiety, I also gained a special interest in mental-emotional disorders. I’ve come to witness that the way we interact with ourselves and the world can be expressed by the symptoms in our physical and emotional body. I bring this awareness into my general practice as I treat mental health, digestive complaints, respiratory disorders and a wide range of muscle-skeletal pain.
As a Registered Acupuncturist and Herbalist, I take great care in guiding clients to form lasting relationships with their health, habits, diet, and lifestyle. I love the time I spend in the treatment room and hope to support each patient’s journey as they move towards a balanced state of wellness.
